Genuine Machine Products is World-Class Quality-Focused Aerospace Manufacturer looking for a qualified Aerospace Inspector to join our team.

Aerospace Quality Inspector Position Summary:


Monitor and Measure Product to ensure compliance with customer requirements.

Control nonconforming product.

Essential Functions:

Monitor manufacturing operations per manufacturing control plans

Provide first article buyoffs for machined, sheet metal and assembled parts

Proficient with AS9102 requirements

Provide First Article services as required

Verify equipment and instruments used in mfg processes are calibrated

Assist with receiving inspection from various outside processes

Verify equipment is operating correctly and safely

Maintain quantities and operation accountability on manufacturing control plans

Proficient at the following:

Final Inspection

In Process Inspection

FAI Reports

Corrective Action Investigation- a plus

First run verification

QMS Maintenance

Vendor Qualification

Internal Auditing- a plus

CMM experience is required

Net Inspect-a plus

Desired Experience:

Must be able to read manufacturing control plans including PCM’s

7 years in aerospace manufacturing and fabrication assembly as a QA Inspector

Knowledge of MSDS

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems

Understanding of Control of non-conforming product

Quality Policy and objectives

Must understand work instructions

Familiar with geometric tolerance

Excel and ERP system experience is a plus

Tools – Proficient and recent experience with the following:

Computer and software

Personal safety Devices

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required
